Who we are
Sodalis is operated by the Sodalis project team ("we"). For privacy questions, email privacy@sodalis.sg.
Who Sodalis is for
Sodalis is a closed community for adult catechists and the parish staff who support them. It is not directed at children, and children cannot create accounts.
What we collect

We do not collect location, contacts, photos of children, advertising identifiers or payment information. We do not show ads and do not track you across other apps or websites. Please do not post children's faces or full names.
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics.
How we use it
To run the app, keep the community safe (reports, removing content, suspending members), and send the notifications you choose. We do not sell your data.
Where it is stored and who processes it
Data is stored with Amazon Web Services in Singapore (sign-in, database, file storage and the application server). Push notifications go through Amazon Web Services (Singapore) and Apple's or Google's push services. Emails, such as sign-in codes and invitations, are sent by Amazon Web Services (Singapore). The web pages are delivered by Google (Firebase Hosting), which sees your IP address and the page requested, but no account or content data. Emails you send to our support and privacy addresses are forwarded by ImprovMX and held in a Google (Gmail) account used only for Sodalis. The phone apps download app updates from Expo, which sees your device's IP address and app version for that, but no account or content data.
How long we keep it
- Your account data and content are kept while your account is active.
- Prayer intentions are removed 12 months after they are posted.
- Mentoring messages and notes are kept while a pairing is active and are removed 12 months after it ends, unless they are part of an open report.
- Moderation audit entries are kept; after you delete your account the name on them is replaced.
Your choices and rights
In the app, open the account menu, then Notifications and privacy:
- Download my data gives you a copy of your data.
- Delete my account erases your profile, sign-in, notes, saved items, devices and preferences. Content you shared with others (prayers, ideas, comments, team posts) stays and shows as "Former member". Mentorships end.
- You can turn notifications off at any time.
If you cannot use the app, email privacy@sodalis.sg or ask a parish coordinator. We will respond within 30 days. See also how to delete your account.
Safeguarding
Concerns about a child's safety are handled outside the app. Contact support@sodalis.sg and the authorities.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and tell members in the app.
