Why Sodalis

Nobody should prepare alone

Volunteer catechists often plan by themselves, materials are scattered, good classroom ideas stay in one parish, and new catechists learn by trial and error. Sodalis is Latin for "companion": the app is built so catechists can carry one another, in preparation and in prayer.

Pray together

  • Share an intention with the whole parish, your level team or your class team.
  • One tap says "I prayed". Anonymous intentions are possible parish-wide.
  • Small prayer-buddy groups of two to five people.

Safe by design

A closed community for adults

Each parish's content is visible only to its approved members. Sodalis is for adult catechists and parish staff, and is not for children. There are no ads and no tracking. Report buttons, coordinator moderation and an audit log help keep the community safe, and you can download or delete your data at any time. Read the privacy policy.

Early access

Get Sodalis

Sodalis is in early access with invited parishes. After installing, sign up with your email, then enter the invite code from your parish coordinator. A coordinator approves you before your parish's content appears.

Android

Install the early-access app directly (APK). Android asks you to allow installing apps from your browser the first time.

Early access on iPhone runs on Apple's TestFlight and is by invitation. Ask for an invite and include the email of your Apple ID.
